# How to freeze a card

**All new debits on frozen cards will be rejected.**\
Payments made before freezing and in the "hold" status will be debited when the payment system sends a request for debiting.

## Method #1

Go to the section <mark style="background-color:green;">**Cards**</mark>, select the desired card and click on the **"Hold card"** button at the top of the work area.

Confirm the action in the window that opens by clicking on the **"Hold" button.**

The card status is immediately updated from **"Active"** to **"Pending"**.

<mark style="color:green;">**Done!**</mark> The card status will change to **"Stopped"** within 1 minute.

## Method #2

Go to <mark style="background-color:green;">**Cards details**</mark>, by clicking on the number or name of the card you need.

Click on the blue button **"Pause"**, to the right of the card.
